College students on spring break in Florida are letting loose after being cooped up for three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Booze-fueled revelers are seen on Fort Lauderdale beach brandishing boxing gloves and staging mock fights, while several scantily clad women also joined in, tackling and wrestling one another to the ground. Crowds of men filmed the fights on their cellphones, and social media feeds are being flooded with videos of physical clashes. Students are also drinking large amounts of alcohol and showing off their spring break bodies, with some wearing provocative clothing. While some spring break hotspots are prepared for the raucous college students, residents in New Smyrna Beach fear their behavior will be bawdier than ever. Spring break celebrations are expected to continue for the next month.
