Hunter Biden, Payments, and Influence

Explosive Senate Report Exposes Biden Family's Chinese Business Deals

A Senate report from 2020 on the Biden family business revealed that Hunter Biden-linked bank accounts received $5.1 million in payments from Chinese business partner Henry Zhao. Zhao, who had ties to Chinese intelligence and worked with Chinese energy conglomerate CEFC Energy, was the recipient of a demanding text message from Hunter Biden. In the message, Hunter Biden put pressure on Zhao for payment using the influence of his father, Joe Biden. Within ten days of the message, CEFC sent two payments totaling $5.1 million to accounts linked to Hunter Biden. The payments raised concerns of potential criminal financial activity. Additionally, the report highlighted deep financial connections between the Bidens, Hunter Biden's law firm Owasco, and the Chinese government. There were allegations of the involvement of Joe Biden, referred to as the "big guy," in a deal with CEFC, where he would receive a ten percent cut. Suspicious activity reports revealed that a Biden associate received a $3 million wire transfer from CEFC, with four Biden family members receiving a collective $1.3 million cut. Furthermore, it was discovered that the Biden family business received at least $10 million from business schemes in Romania and China over several years, involving nine Biden family members, including two of Joe Biden's grandchildren.
